There are currently two contests running through the Tower of Time. The first is based on design (some of you might be familiar with this one already) where the goal is to redesign the villains of NeoF. The second is more art-oriented: a coloring contest for the Tower's next layout.
The deadline for both is the Tower's 8th anniversary: May 1, 2009.

NeoF Villain Redesign Contest
Your goal is to redesign a number of the NeoF villains while keeping with a similar color sceme and personality. Have fun with their hair style, skin tone, and clothing. Where noted, you may also change the gender of some of the villians. For some of them, I have personality quirks in mind already, and for others, you are allowed free reign. You may use any medium you want and you will be judged on concept, not on artistic skill.
Garnet- female, rather straight-laced and professional
Topaz- female or male
Quartz- female or male, a little bit insane, specializes is in poisons
Pyrite- female or male, high-energy
Gypsum- female or male
Amber- female, cunning
Olivine- female or male, a bit naieve
Aquamarine- female or male, overly concious of appearence
Peridot- male
Hematite- male
Apatite- male, soft-spoken
Feldspar- male
Jade- maleAll designs should include Animate-style golden braclets with their namesake stones instead of the red and green stones that Galaxia's Animates used.
The villians that are not being redesigned as a part of this contest are Lady Chaos, Alexandrite, Tourmaline, Sulfir, Lapis and Lazuli, Amethyst, and Emerald.
You may enter as many times as you want (even multiple times for the same character), but you cannot win both first and second place. There will be a grand prize and a runner up for the two best designs, as well as prizes for the other 11 winning designs that are chose for the story.
Prizes:
Grand Prize: Your design will be used as the official design of the character in the story, and you may chose from one of the following prizes: a group picture (drawn by Song of Amazon) of up to 10 characters, a coloring book edit (by Song of Amazon) of up to three characters, an owl made of your choice kimono scraps that SoA brought back from Japan, or a Sailor Moon toy (I have dolls, gapashon figures, and tins that I will take pictures of when I am home for spring break in March).
Runner-up: Your design will be used as the official design of the character in the story, and you may chose from one of the following prizes: a group picture (drawn by Song of Amazon) of up to 6 characters, a coloring book edit (by Song of Amazon) of up to two characters, or an owl made of your choice kimono scraps that SoA brought back from Japan
Other Selected Designs: Your design will be used as the official design of the character in the story and you get one Another Story style sprite edit (done by Song of Amazon).

Your goal is to color this picture of the Cosmic Senshi from NeoF to be used in the next layout of the Tower of Time.
Song of Amazon's colored version
You have a lot of freedom with this one. You may use any medium you chose, digital or traditional. You may also retrace the picture in your own style, as long as the outfits and the poses remain the same.
You are not limited to coloring it the same way I did. Stylize it if you want. If you want to make everyone in blue tones, or make them glow their respective colors, or anything else creative, you are completely welcome to.
A background is optional. Since it is a layout image, the only text on the finished picture should be your artist's signature.
